What Happens When You Uninstall
Automatically Deleted
- Cached AI results in your Google account
- Usage count for the current period
- License validation cache
- Any local add-on settings
May Remain (Request Deletion)
- Your email address in our records
- Your plan/tier association
- Billing records (if you were a paid subscriber)
Cell content you submitted to AI functions was never stored on our servers, so there is nothing to delete for that data.
Request Data Deletion
To have all personal data we hold about you permanently deleted, send an email to:
Email: kevcweller@gmail.com
Subject line: SheetMagic Data Deletion Request
Include: The email address associated with your SheetMagic account

GDPR and CCPA users: You have the right to deletion under applicable law. We honor all such requests within the legally required timeframe and will confirm in writing when complete.
Other Opt-Out Options
You do not need to uninstall to adjust how SheetMagic uses data:
- Use your own API key: Enter your own OpenAI API key in the SheetMagic settings sidebar. This routes all AI calls through your own account, bypassing our shared API infrastructure entirely.
- Revoke Google permissions: Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions to review and revoke the permissions SheetMagic uses at any time.
- Stop using AI functions: Simply stop calling SheetMagic functions in your spreadsheets. No data is sent unless you actively call a function like
=AI().
