By installing or using SheetMagic, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the add-on.
1. The Service
SheetMagic ("the Service") is a Google Workspace add-on developed and operated by WellerDeveler ("we," "us," "our"). The Service provides AI-powered spreadsheet functions within Google Sheets, powered by third-party AI APIs.

2. Eligibility and Account
You must be at least 13 years old to use SheetMagic. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any API keys or license keys you use with the Service.
3. Free and Paid Tiers
SheetMagic is offered on a tiered basis:
- Free tier: 50 AI function calls per day, no charge
- Paid tiers: Higher call limits and additional features, billed as described on the pricing page at time of purchase
Free-tier limits may be modified at any time with reasonable notice. Paid-tier prices are locked at the rate in effect at the time of your purchase for the duration of your subscription period.
We reserve the right to suspend or throttle accounts that abuse the free tier, including through automated scripting or resale of API output.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SheetMagic to:
- Generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Resell or redistribute AI-generated output in a way that misrepresents its origin
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the add-on
- Circumvent usage limits, license validation, or rate limiting mechanisms
- Use the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure
5. AI Output — No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI-generated content is provided as-is and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and determining the fitness of any AI output before relying on it for any purpose — including business decisions, published content, legal or financial matters, or any other use.
We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated output. Use of AI output is at your own risk.
6. User Data and Content
You are solely responsible for the data and content you input into SheetMagic. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to process any data you submit through the Service.
Do not input sensitive personal information, confidential business information, protected health information (PHI), financial account numbers, passwords, or any data you are not authorized to process through third-party AI services.
Cell content you submit is sent to AI processing APIs (currently OpenAI) for processing. By using the Service, you agree to OpenAI's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
SheetMagic, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by WellerDeveler. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of all data and content you input. You grant WellerDeveler a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input solely as necessary to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WellerDeveler and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10.00, whichever is greater.
10. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice. We will notify users of material changes to these Terms by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the add-on. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
